Huntington Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Huntington Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If youβre a car enthusiast, Donut Derelicts is the kind of place that reminds you why car culture exists in the first place. Every Saturday morning before the sun is fully up, Adams Avenue in Huntington Beach turns into a rolling museum of American horsepower and automotive history. From pristine classic muscle cars and vintage hot rods to rare exotics and perfectly restored trucks, the variety alone is worth getting out of bed early. What makes this event special isnβt just the cars β itβs the atmosphere. Owners are happy to talk about their builds, people swap stories over coffee and donuts, and you get generations of car lovers all in one place. Thereβs no ego, no pressure, just a genuine community that appreciates craftsmanship and the love of automobiles. The event is incredibly well organized considering how many cars show up, and the early-morning coastal vibe makes it even better. Youβll hear engines rumble to life, smell fresh coffee and donuts, and watch the sun come up over rows of chrome and polished paint. If you enjoy cars even a little, this is a must-experience Southern California tradition. Itβs not just a car show β itβs a weekly celebration of automotive passion.

Outstanding donuts, normal and fancy. Also, very good ham and cheese croissants, get them with jalapeΓ±os. Early Saturday morning, there's a car show there every week. Don't sleep in, it's over by 8:30am. Amazing variety of cars, check out out!

Every Saturday early in the morning people from all over the LA/OC area gather to enjoy classic cars, coffee and donuts. You'll hear the history of a car if you stop to say hello.

Every saturday morning there are all types of car collectors out to show off. Mostly american and post war, but there is all kinds of everything there. All of them drive under their own power, and one of my favorite things to do was to watch the hot rods take off. If it is sunny out the night before / that morning there will be more cars. Better than a "car show" as the owners are usually around and friendly, and love to talk about their cars!
